The tomato frog's fiery red skin acts as a WARNING to predators. By releasing a TOXIC glue-like substance from its skin, animals that attempt to eat the frog get sick. Again, this is a prime natural example of nature's signs - stay away from RED.
Through ingestion, the leaves and stems are poisonous. Symptoms include headache, abdominal pain, dilated pupils, vomiting, diarrhea, circulatory and respiratory depression, loss of sensation. The toxic substances are glycoalkaloids: solanine and demissine.

Black walnut tree roots exude a compound into the soil called juglone which is toxic to tomato plants. So.... if you know anyone who grows black walnut trees, buy some walnuts, then plant lots of trees in your backyard. In a few years, when you have many walnuts, grind the juice from them and infiltrate any tomato garden. This can be a lot of fun for the kiddies too.
You may also grind up the bark and branches to create a mulch, then label it as tomato mulch and sell it to a tomato farmer. HA HA HAAAA
